So who is this girl?

I grew up in a  middle-class, Catholic household. I made my voice heard around the house, but in public, especially when donning my school uniform, I was usually trying to do my best to make the nuns proud.  

I like to say I'm a late bloomer.  I didn't really begin to express myself creatively until my 20s when I began performing comedy improv and later, stand-up comedy.  And ever since, I've continued to let my voice be heard... as a professional speaker and workshop leader through my business Laugh to Live!, as an educator in the field of Mass Communication, and most recently as a podcaster of Uncorked with Funny Wine Girl introducing listeners to interesting women doing kick-ass things.

I left my corporate/marketing communications job in the healthcare field over 10 years ago and ever since, I've led a gig life, exploring a variety of different interests from public speaking, educating, creating social media and marketing content for clients, performing comedy at wineries, leading online educational workshops to crafting earrings out of wine corks. I encourage you to uncork your dreams. Use your talents, learn new skills, make new friends and explore new territories and hobbies so that you can be the best possible blend of person you want to be.  And, I like to believe that we women, like wine, get better with age.
